Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on technique that involves the manipulation of soft tissues and joints of the body in order to improve physical function and relieve pain. Massage therapy can help reduce muscle tension, increase range of motion, reduce or eliminate pain and contribute to injury recovery.

One of the biggest differences in these treatments is that unlike our other massage offerings, our sports massage treatments are performed with clothing on, allowing for a dynamic approach that incorporates joint mobilizations, assisted stretching, and focused muscle work. Sports massage is a targeted, often movement-based treatment designed to support athletic performance, aid recovery, and address pain or injury concerns.

These sessions are ideal for athletes, active individuals, or anyone experiencing movement restrictions, muscular tension, or pain. Whether you're recovering from an intense workout, managing a chronic issue, or looking to improve mobility, sports massage can help enhance function and prevent future discomfort.

Massage + Add-Ons

Billy does clothes-on sports massage as well as Swedish relaxation massage in his practice, taking a biomechanical approach to treatment. Billy obtained his diploma in massage therapy from Sutherland-Chan College.

After herniating a disk at the age of 22, Billy realized the importance of receiving treatment, and learning how to treat yourself. He struggled for years until he learned the tools to relieve his own pain, and how to train his body to prevent future re-injury.

Through the use of joint mobilizations, fascial work and muscle-energy techniques, Billy targets the body’s nervous system to achieve the best outcomes. Using muscle testing to identify areas that need attention, he then treats the tissues and re-tests to confirm the intervention has been effective. Billy’s goal is to get all muscles and joints working optimally to achieve stability, mobility and ability.
